The UMS4 is the big brother of the UM4 charger. The main differences are mainly the higher charging current, now up to 3A in *QC (Quick Charge) mode on one slot possible with two occupied slots max. 2A per slot and 1A per slot for 4 slots. (1000mA are preset) To make the high currents safer the Nitecore UMS4 charger has been equipped with additional features, recognises the battery type, determines the battery condition, the charging status of the battery and automatically determines the correct charging procedure. Good" and "Poor" display completes the battery monitoring.
The UMS4 from Nitecore is equipped with QC 2.0 (Quick Charge) charging electronics.
Nitecore renounced with the UM series integrated power supply and integrated the charger the *QC 2.0 (Quick Charge) at the USB input. Charging of batteries up to a length of 77mm e.g..Protected 20700/21700 batteries, automatic battery internal resistance detection, calculation of charged capacity and Li-Ion battery reactivation are further useful additions.
Enables charging of Li-Ion, Ni-MH, Ni-Cd and LiFePO4 batteries. The charging system is optimised for IMR batteries and charges the batteries safely and gently. The LCD display shows charging current, charging voltage, resistance and charging time per charging slot. CE, FCC, ROHS and CEC certified.

Please note: For rechargeable batteries with a diameter of 22 mm or more, max. two cells can be charged at the same time.
