The Keeppower 14430A2 is a high-quality, unprotected lithium-ion cell with a typical capacity of 950 mAh*. It is suitable for compact electronic applications, modelling, measuring devices, sensor technology, LED applications and special technical solutions, provided the device used is designed for unprotected 3.6V / 3.7V Li-ion batteries.

Important note: This cell does not have an integrated PCB/PCM protection circuit. It may only be operated in devices or battery packs that have a suitable protection circuit against deep discharge, overcharging, short-circuiting and overcurrent.

The Keeppower 14430A2 rechargeable battery is primarily used where a short and compact lithium-ion cell with high energy density is required. These include technical devices, special applications, small LED systems, sensors, measuring devices, modelling and battery pack solutions with external protection electronics.

Before purchasing, please check whether your device is specifically suitable for 14430 Li-ion batteries with 3.6V / 3.7V and without integrated protection circuit. The 14430 size is not the same as AA, 14500 or other round cell sizes.

Options: raised positive terminal and solder lugs

- Without extras: Battery cell without options as in the main picture.
- Raised positive terminal: A button (nipple) welded to the positive terminal using a special welding process raises the flat positive terminal by approx. 2 mm, similar to a normal battery, for example (at extra cost).
- Solder lug: A metal tongue (W: 5mm x L: 20mm x D: 0.15mm), which is firmly connected to the positive and negative terminals of the battery and is used to solder a connecting wire or other batteries to the component. (for an extra charge)
U - Both solder tags point in one direction (e.g. for parallel connection or soldering to electronic components)
Z - Solder tags point in opposite directions. (e.g. series connection or construction-related soldering)

*The specified capacity of a battery indicates the amount of energy it can store under ideal laboratory conditions. This value is measured at a constant temperature and under defined conditions in order to create a reliable reference for the performance of the battery. These conditions are not met by commercially available test devices.
