Battery developed for use in solar lamps. The size of the battery corresponds to an AA (Mignon) battery. The chemical composition (LiFePO4) allows the IFR rechargeable battery several thousand charging cycles.

Please note for solar lamps: If you are unsure, only use batteries with the manufacturer's recommended capacity. Higher capacity leads to functional failure of the batteries.
Our tip:For solar lamps that are not sufficiently supplied with daylight it is recommended to use a lower capacity than recommended by the manufacturer. The same applies in the winter months with shorter daylight hours.

Other features
Lithium iron phosphate batteries are thermally stable and are not subject to memory effect.
They work on the basis of lithium and are characterised by a high energy density.
Note: Lithium cells may only be operated with protective electronics!

Incorrect handling or short-circuiting can lead to fire or explosion.
Notes:
A special charger is required for charging lithium batteries, which charges the batteries according to a special charging procedure. (CCCV = constant current, constant voltage.) The batteries must not be charged above a voltage of 3.65 volts, otherwise there is a risk of fire and explosion. It is advantageous to charge the batteries only up to approx. 3.5 volts, as this significantly increases the service life or the number of charging cycles (possibly up to double). Furthermore, rechargeable batteries and batteries do not belong in household waste! Please dispose of them as prescribed by law at the municipal collection points or in the [usually green] containers provided by retailers.
