Provided that 2mm overlength can be compensated for, the RCR123A rechargeable Li-Ion 3V battery is a fully-fledged replacement for the non-rechargeable 3V photo battery of the CR123A design. A built-in Li-Ion battery with 3.6V to 3.7 Volt nominal voltage is regulated down to 3V with the help of electronics in the form of a PCB . The widely used type CR123A based on Li-Ion revolutionise the mobile power supply for many applications.

The Keeppower RCR123A battery can replace the following non-rechargeable 3V batteries: CR123 A, CR123 R, R-CR123, CR17335, CR17345, DL123A , EL123AP, K123LA , L123A.
The stable and high output voltage makes the 3-volt lithium-ion batteries compatible with all devices that are optimised for operation with disposable batteries. The high voltage results in high performance in many devices e.g. many torches or fairy lights are brighter or motors (toys, kitchen appliances) run faster than with non-rechargeable batteries.
The Keeppower RCR123A considering the length can replace the CR123A 3V battery.
Please note the dimensions of the cell before buying! Due to the built-in electronics, the cell is not suitable for every application!
Height and diameter are larger than a standard CR123A battery without PCB and USB charging possibility.
Best suited for: game cameras, fairy lights, model making, radios, photo equipment, flash units and many more. (Please note max. current output of 1.5A and excess length
Disadvantages: The electronic regulation only allows the discharge current of 1.5A specified in the key figures. Charging the batteries can only be done via USB or suitable charger.
Important: The charging of the Keeppower 3V Li-Ion. Batteries is only possible via the integrated micro USB socket. Charging with a conventional charger for NiMH/NiCD or Li-Ion batteries is not permitted.
Chargers for Li-Ion 3V batteries from other manufacturers are not compatible.
Charging is done via the integrated USB socket on any 5V USB connection. Coloured LED on the front of the batteries informs the user about the charging status. Charge your batteries on the go at any USB-5V port, (smartphone power supply, powerbank, laptop etc.), thus you stay flexible and always have a charging possibility at hand.

Mode of operation:
Using a high quality 3.7V Li-ion 800mAh battery, the energy is up to 2580mWh. After the output voltage has been reduced by the electronics to a constant voltage of 3 V, this corresponds to a capacity of 860mAh.
