The micro-USB rechargeable Li-Polymer 9V block with its own charging electronics, is equipped with protection/PCB, short-circuit, overcharge and deep discharge protection.
You can use the Li-Po battery just like other batteries in almost any device and without the usual self-discharge. All you need for charging is a USB cable and a 5V USB 1A - 3A power supply or 5V USB computer connection. (not included)

Charging Lithium Ion batteries requires a special charger that charges the batteries according to a special charging procedure. (CCCV = constant current, constant voltage.) or via the built-in Micro-USB input 5V 1A - 3A.
