Samsung INR21700-58E is a high-quality lithium-ion cell with a typical capacity of 5490 mAh¹. The cell has been optimised for high energy density applications, such as power banks, e-bikes or LED lighting, where reliable power supply and longevity are critical - provided the device supports unprotected 21700 cells.
Note: This cell is unprotected and has no integrated protection circuit (PCB/PCM³). It should only be used in devices with their own protection function!

Important information on capacity: The specified capacity of a battery indicates the amount of energy it can store under ideal laboratory conditions. This value is measured at a constant temperature and under defined conditions in order to create a reliable reference for the performance of the battery. These conditions are not met by commercially available test devices.
Nominal capacity: is the typical or average value given by a manufacturer for the capacity of a cell or battery.
²Minimum capacity: is the smallest guaranteed value that a cell must achieve under the same test conditions.
PCB (Protection Circuit Board): Integrated protection circuit for single cells - protects against overcharging, deep discharge, short circuit and overcurrent.
BMS (Battery Management System): Extended protection for battery packs - including cell balancing, temperature control and communication with the device.
For safe applications, we recommend PCB-protected cells or a suitable BMS for battery packs.

Notes:
Charging lithium-ion batteries requires a special charger that charges the batteries using a special charging process. (CCCV = constand current, constant voltage.) The batteries must not be charged above a voltage of 4.2 volts, otherwise there is a risk of fire and explosion. It is advantageous to charge the batteries only up to approx. 4.1 volts, as this significantly increases the service life or number of charging cycles (possibly up to double). Only lithium-ion chargers may be used for charging. However, cheap chargers sometimes have the disadvantage that they do not switch off safely at the end of the charging process, but continue to charge the batteries with a low charging current, which can be dangerous.
Furthermore, rechargeable batteries and batteries do not belong in household waste! Please dispose of them as prescribed by law in the municipal collection centres or in the [usually green] containers provided for this purpose by retailers.
