Item number: 100651
Manufacturer: Samsung
Samsung INR18650-20R 2000mAh1 3.6V Li-Ion battery
The Samsung INR18650-20R is a powerful 18650 Li-Ion high-current cell with 2000mAh1 capacity and 3.6V nominal voltage. Due to its high current carrying capacity, it is particularly suitable for applications with higher power requirements, for example in power tools, battery packs, torches, modelling projects and as a replacement battery for suitable Bosch IXO cordless screwdrivers.
Depending on the selection, the cell is available with a flat positive terminal (flat top), raised positive terminal, U solder tag, Z solder tag or as an IXO version. Please compare the voltage, design, polarity and connection position with the existing battery before purchasing.

1 Nominal capacity: The nominal capacity of a rechargeable battery indicates the amount of electrical charge that it can store and release under specified laboratory conditions. This value is measured at a constant temperature and under defined test conditions in order to create a reliable reference for the performance of the battery. Measurements with standard household devices, e.g. USB measuring devices or chargers with an analyser function, often show lower values, as these work under different conditions and cannot achieve the manufacturer's laboratory conditions.
2 Minimum capacity: The minimum capacity is the minimum value that a battery must reliably deliver under the test conditions specified by the manufacturer. It is specified by the manufacturer and takes into account permissible production-related deviations.

<p><strong>Product Safety for Lithium-Ion Batteries</strong></p><p><strong>Risks/Hazards</strong></p><p>Improper use of lithium-ion batteries, such as disassembling, breaking or overheating, may cause them to explode or cause fires. Lithium-ion batteries contain flammable and/or corrosive solutions and lithium salts, which may cause irritation to the skin, eyes and mucous membranes in the event of leakage. If lithium-ion batteries vent, escaping vapors may pose a health hazard.</p><p><strong>Handling</strong></p><p>- Keep away from heat, open flames and corrosive liquids.</p><p>- Do not damage or burn.</p><p>- Damaged lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of immediately in suitable containers.</p><p><strong>Personal Protection in the Event of Accidents</strong></p><p>- Wear appropriate protective clothing, such as gloves, safety goggles, etc.</p><p>- If there is a risk of vapors escaping, wear heavy respiratory protection and full-body protection.</p><p><strong>Leakage of Liquid</strong></p><p>- Isolate the area, allow the lithium-ion battery to cool down and let vapors disperse.</p><p>- Avoid contact with skin and eyes and avoid inhaling vapors.</p><p>- Absorb leaked liquids with absorbent material and dispose of them properly.</p><p><strong>Fire-Fighting Measures</strong></p><p>- Extinguishing agents - Since lithium-ion batteries generally do not contain metallic lithium, common extinguishing agents, such as ABC powder extinguishers, CO2 extinguishers or water, may be used. However, the choice of extinguishing agent depends on the burning material, such as oil, plastic, etc.</p><p>- Special fire-fighting instructions - If possible, remove batteries from the fire-fighting area. If heating above 125 u00b0C occurs, the cells may catch fire or explode.</p><p>- Fire-fighting equipment - Wear heavy respiratory protection and full-body protective clothing.</p><p>- Hazardous decomposition products - The cells themselves are not flammable. However, the organic materials inside are flammable, such as alcohol-based solvents, fire class B or possibly C, as well as the plastic casing or polymer film, fire class A. The corresponding precautions for plastic fires, such as toxic gases, must also be observed and suitable methods for extinguishing such fires must be used. Combustion products include, among others, hydrogen fluoride, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.</p><p><strong>First Aid</strong></p><p>In the event of contact with released electrolytes, gases or combustion by-products of a lithium-ion battery, the following first aid measures must be observed:</p><p>- Eyes - In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water immediately for at least 15 minutes. Keep eyelids open to ensure complete rinsing of the eye.</p><p>- Skin - Remove contaminated clothing and rinse the skin under cold water for at least 15 minutes.</p><p>- Respiratory tract - Ensure a supply of fresh air. If necessary, perform first aid measures.</p><p>- In any case, consult a doctor afterwards.</p><p><strong>Waste Disposal</strong></p><p>- Dispose of in accordance with the applicable regulations.</p><p>- Opened cells should be treated as hazardous waste and disposed of accordingly.</p>
