The SkyRC MC5000 goes beyond pure charging and offers a wealth of intelligent charging programmes for battery care. A total of six modes are available to cover different requirements.

The SkyRC MC5000 has six operating modes: Charge, Discharge, Storage, Cycle, Refresh and Break-in. You can charge batteries normally, discharge them in a controlled manner, prepare them for storage, carry out charge/discharge cycles, refresh cells and specifically condition new or unused batteries.
The MC5000 can charge the following battery types / chemistries and sizes:
Li-Ion, - Li-Ion HV (High Voltage), - LiFe (LiFePO₄), - NiMH (incl. eneloop), - NiCd, - NiZn, - RAM (Rechargeable Alkaline Manganese), - LTO (Lithium Titanate), - Na-Ion (Sodium Ion).

In addition, the MC50000 supports many other intermediate formats as long as the cells of approx. 32-80 mm length fit into the charging slots (44+ sizes in total according to the manufacturer).
Due to their width, only a maximum of two batteries can be charged at the same time from a diameter of 29 mm (the other two slots can then only be used for smaller cells).

Precision & internal resistance test: High-precision measurement and control technology - virtually constant current flows and a maximum voltage accuracy of ±0.01 V. The device also determines the internal resistance of the cells to assess their state of health.

Colour display with live data: Large 2.8″ colour LCD provides real-time displays of all important values (voltage, current, charged mAh, time, temperature, etc.) per slot and even graphically displays charging curves - so the user always keeps an eye on the charging process and battery performance, just like a professional analysis tool.

Simple, convenient conditions: A central aluminium rotary scroll wheel allows quick and intuitive navigation through menus and settings. In addition, each slot LED shows the status at a glance (e.g. flashing green = charging, green = full, red = error), making the charging status immediately recognisable.

Well thought-out design & cooling: The stand, which is folded out at an angle of 13°, offers the best ergonomics and readability. Three integrated fans enable active cooling - the intelligent triple fan system ensures that the temperature is reduced by 40-50 °C even at high currents (instead of up to 80 °C without cooling), which protects the batteries and enables quiet, safe operation.

Comprehensive safety functions: Multi-stage protection mechanisms for a safe charging process: including short-circuit, overheating, overvoltage and reverse polarity protection as well as a cut-off in the event of overcharging (capacity/time limit). The housing is also made of flame-retardant material to provide additional protection.

App control & smart extras: Bluetooth 5.0 enables connection to the SkyCharger app, which offers convenient remote control and a real-time display of all data as well as graphical progress charts on the smartphone. Even Apple's Dynamic Island for iOS is supported by displaying charging information as a compact notification. The app also allows firmware updates to be installed wirelessly so that the device is always up to date.
