Further properties:
Lithium-ion batteries offer high performance in a compact size and are ideal for modern mobile and stationary applications:
- High energy density - more power per volume
- Low weight - ideal for portable applications
- Hardly any self-discharge - low losses during storage
- No memory effect - can be recharged at any time
- High cell voltage - 3.6-3.7 V per cell
- Long service life - 500-1000 charging cycles¹
- Universally applicable - from lighting systems to industry
Scope of delivery:
1x Keeppower 26800-P2680C - 7000 mAh* lithium-ion battery with integrated PCB protection circuit
*The nominal capacity of a battery indicates the amount of energy it can store under ideal laboratory conditions. This value is measured at a constant temperature and under defined conditions in order to provide a reliable reference for the performance of the battery. Measurements with standard household devices (e.g. USB measuring devices, chargers with an analyser function) often show lower values, as these operate under different conditions and cannot achieve the manufacturer's laboratory conditions.
¹Remaining capacityat the end of life (500 - 1000 full cycles): Even at the end of their service life, Li-ion cells still deliver approx. 70-80% of their original capacity - ideal for long-life applications.
²PCB/BMS: A PCB (Protection Circuit Board) is a protective circuit that protects individual lithium-ion cells from overcharging, deep discharge, short circuits and overcurrent.
Charging current normal | 1.4A (1400mA) |
Fast charging current | 3.5A (3500mA) |
Standard discharge current | 1.4A (1400 mA) |
Charging operating temperature | 0 - 45 °C |
Discharging operating temperature | -20 to +60 °C |
Storage temperature | -20 to +20 °C |
Notes:
Charging lithium-ion batteries requires a special charger that charges the batteries using a special charging process. (CCCV = constand current, constant voltage.) The batteries must not be charged above a voltage of 4.2 volts, otherwise there is a risk of fire and explosion. It is advantageous to charge the batteries only up to approx. 4.1 volts, as this significantly increases the service life or number of charging cycles (possibly up to double). Only lithium-ion chargers may be used for charging. However, cheap chargers sometimes have the disadvantage that they do not switch off safely at the end of the charging process, but continue to charge the batteries with a low charging current, which can be dangerous.
Furthermore, rechargeable batteries and batteries do not belong in household waste! Please dispose of them as prescribed by law in the municipal collection centres or in the [usually green] containers provided for this purpose by retailers.
